TRR is a professional Theater operating under an agreement with Actors Equity Association (the professional trade union for stage actors and stage manager) and in cooperation with The Broadway League (Assciation of American Theatres and Producers).

TRR is produced through CNU’s Ferguson Center for the Arts with substantial contributions from Christopher Newport University. TRR is dedicated to hiring local, regional and nationally recognized professionals consistent with the Theatre’s mission and producing quality professional theater for the residents of Hampton Roads and the greater Tidewater area. To that end, TRR is selective and seeks out the best artists available while maintaining the highest in artistic and professional standards.
